Admissions

I am delighted to welcome you to Cross and Passion College, a unique place with a long tradition of academic excellence and service to the community since 1913.

Moving from primary school to post-primary school is a major step in the lives of all children and I am mindful that this year has brought particular disruption to pupils in Primary 6 and Primary 7.

Transfer can also be a very exciting time, not only for the child but for parents, and indeed the whole family, as they share a major milestone in their lives.

These pages are designed to inform you as to the wonderful opportunities that are available in the College and if you have any further questions or queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Experiences

Greater Choice

At Cross and Passion College, pupils in Years 11 to 14 enjoy the benefits of a very close collaborative arrangement with Ballycastle High School, which enables both schools to offer a greater choice and a broad, balanced curriculum. This arrangement ensures that all of our young people are challenged, and offers them opportunities to study subjects from a wide range of specialisms.

Joint Student Council

Enhanced Opportunities

The partnership is now well established and is deeply embedded in the life of both schools. More than 300 pupils from both schools share lessons on a day-to-day basis.

mutual respect

The partnership promotes and nurtures mutual respect and understanding, as well as community cohesion. The commitment to sharing can be traced back as far as the 1960s.
